The standard 2.4-liter Tigershark® Multiair® 2 engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and can deliver 180 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. When equipped with the available 3.2-liter Pentastar® V6 engine, the Cherokee can tow up to 4,500 lbs. At the top of the engine lineup, the available 2.0-liter Turbo engine can produce 270 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque as well as achieve a fuel economy rating of up to 31 mpg on the highway.
